The Grand Nespresso vs Dolce gusto Contest

The Grand Nespresso vs Dolce gusto Contest

Whether you like an espresso, latte, or anything in between, finding the right coffee machine to match or suit your taste can be challenging because there are wide varieties on the market.

There are different varieties of capsule coffee machines; however, there are no significant differences between these capsule coffee machines.

But before you select a machine for yourself, you should first have a closer look at each of these machines and how they suit your needs.

There are many different suppliers of capsule coffee machines, but for the purpose of this review, we shall be considering Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto.

Definitions: Product A vs. Product B

The love of capsule coffee machines by many coffee drinkers is still unabated.

Many believe this was due to the great advertisement by George Clooney.

Findings show that there is no house in UK and US where you won’t find a capsule coffee machine.

Why is this so? There is a good reason for this, before now, it is not possible to prepare a great variety of coffees in a short time, for instance, cappuccino, latte macchiato, espresso, or normal coffee.

This review will center on two capsule coffee machine varieties:y Nespresso and dolce gusto.

Product A: Nespresso Capsule Coffee machine

This single-serve espresso machine usually makes 1cup of espresso coffee at a time.

You measure and brew instead of preparing the coffee ground.

This machine uses Nespresso capsules already measured with a good amount of coffee.

All you need to do is put in the capsule, press a button, and drink your coffee!

This machine is a truly luxurious experience at home; it gives you high-quality coffee drinks prepared simply with a press of a button.

Product B: Dolce Gusto Capsule Coffee Machine

Dolce Gusto

This is a multi-beverage portioned closed system. It is manufactured by Nescafe.

The even distribution of water and pressure is delivered via the capsule to maximize the extraction of the flavor due to high pressure.

The invention of a capsule-based system offers good service and comfort to the user.

With the automated flow stop feature, you can customize your coffee strength.

Move the selection wheel from 1 to 7 to your desired water volume; simply press the button, and your coffee or milk will be dispensed.

Comparing the two machines: Nespresso capsules vs. Dolce Gusto

Nespresso capsules are usually made of pure coffee. This machine brews only espresso coffee or drinks.

Coffee drinks can be prepared using fresh milk, heated and frothed by the frother.

In the end, you will get a great cup of coffee produced from fresh ingredients.

Why many like Nespresso machines because of their simplicity.

It has few controls or buttons - you pop in the capsule and leave.

It can give you the opportunity to select your size of drink prior to starting, while with others may not.

In the case of Dolce Gusto, you will see it simply as a variety of coffee and coffee-flavored drinks. This capsule usually includes artificial flavors, powdered milk, and coffee prepared by the Dolce Gusto system.

A Dolce Gusto machine uses either digital system controls to start the flow of hot water through the capsule and control the drink size or the manual method.

The barcodes on the capsules give you a clue on what to adjust in the settings and controls.

Two capsules are required for milky drinks - one is for the coffee and the other for the milk.

Compare Reviews: Nespresso vs. Dolce Gusto

Nespresso review

•   It is affordable

•   Pre-heating time is about 25 seconds

•   Very easy to operate with 2 buttons

•   Capsule containers are used for storing used pods

•   The auto power-off stops the inactive machine after 9 minutes

•   The tank holds enough water to let you prepare up to 9 cups

•   It can allow big and tall cups since the drip tray folds.

•   The machine does not give you a guarantee that the pod will be in the actual position, and some of them may be eventually crushed.

Nescafe Dolce Gusto review

•   Has 15 bars pressure while most other machines use only 1 - 3 bars

•   Easy to insert the coffee capsules

•   Easy to fool-proof and use - you get a nice cup of coffee always

•   Options for both cold and hot water brewing for all drinks

•   Lack of settings for the various coffees

•   use only Nescafe capsules

•   Small water reservoir

•   No water filter in the reservoir

Nespresso coffee machine

If you really want a nice machine for making coffee that makes a perfect brew and takes up small storage space at a handy price range, then this coffee machine is the right one for you.

Dolce Gusto

Dolce Gusto machine is cheaper and bigger in size. It has options for both cold and hot water brewing for all drinks.

Final Verdict

When it comes to choosing the best capsule coffee machine, it ultimately comes down to your personal preference.

However, if I had to choose just one, I would pick the Nespresso Capsule Coffee machine.

This is the best overall since it provides you with all the basic features you need and gives you outstanding value for money.

It allows you to quickly make a cup of coffee but still provides you with the ability to make custom volumes if desired.

Lastly, I will choose to go for Nespresso because it is simple to operate and can take a large volume of water at a time.
